Kudos! Digital Pieces is about to turn ten years old. It’s the perfect time for us to celebrate that. As much as it is a cause for celebration, it’s also essential for our team to reflect on what we have achieved over the last ten years. We have learned so much about our industry as a team of passionate, hard-working professionals. The best way to describe these achievements is to reflect on how it all began a decade ago.
Ten years ago, Digital Pieces was founded by Natko and Jessica. Natko Radmilovic has over 25 years of creative design experience building website concepts, illustrations and corporate identities for various organisations, including NAB, Hoyts, Mirvac, Medibank, Mazda, and the Australian Government.
On the other hand, Jessica has worked in the industry since 2006. She started as a sales representative and later became an account and project manager. She has worked on several web design and development projects for organisations like Red Heads, Fujitsu Ten, and Harcourts.
The idea was to establish and run a design agency that partners with their clients to deliver exceptional results.
When we started in 2013, the company only consisted of Natko and Jessica. But today, they have a creative team of website designers, website developers, SEO analysts, copywriters, photographers and a videography team.
As the digital world continues to expand and evolve, we have seen a significant shift in how businesses approach digital solutions. Many recognise the importance of an online presence, which leads to expanding capabilities and allows us to offer the full digital and design solution to all our clients. This means hiring more staff, diversifying their offerings and exploring new niches.
Initially providing web design and development services in Melbourne, today we are one of Melbourne’s most trusted experts in creating logos and brands, websites and digital marketing solutions.
Of course, the last ten years have had their challenges, with the Covid world pandemic, inflation issues, and a massive unemployment spike— an increasingly competitive market, changing customer demands and rapid technological advancements. Additionally, security threats and data protection have become paramount concerns.
Despite all these challenges, we have achieved numerous successes over the last decade. These include building and delivering innovative web solutions that have helped businesses to grow.
